(Senior) Marketing Analyst

We are happy to invite you to work with us in our office in Hamburg or permanently remote from any location where you are permitted to work from. Wherever your working location of choice will be, we will make sure you get proper onboarding (virtual or in person) and that you are fully equipped to become part of the team from day one.
We will support you in case you would like to relocate to Germany.


  • You are the domain expert and owner of Marketing Analytics & Marketing Data
  • Your stakeholders consist of Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, CRM, PR & Design, Affiliation, Performance Marketing
  • You will create Marketing Reporting in Tableau mainly based on data in AWS Redshift, and will continuously look to improve it while owning data quality in partnership with our analytics engineers
  • You understand the problems & challenges of various Marketing stakeholders to generate actionable insights & meaningful analytics from our Marketing data
  • Your secondary data sources will be Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook, Hubspot or Impact, and you’ll build up knowledge around these tools to be able to support stakeholders with data driven insights or suggestions


    • You have 3+ years of experience in Analytics / Business Intelligence, ideally in Marketing Analytics
    • You have a solid understanding of how marketing data is generated in the frontend and through third-party services, and how it should be processed afterwards
    • You easily form and improve complex SQL queries
    • You are experienced in using Tableau (or PowerBI, Qlik or equivalent visualization software)
    • You feel at home with Marketing terminology and have a deep understanding of the dependencies and dynamics of the most important Marketing KPIs
    • You effectively communicate complex matters and requirements to non-domain experts in a simple, crisp and concise way – visually and verbally
    • You are creative, organized, self-motivated and proactive. You enjoy sitting close to the business and making an impact
    • You have knowledge of Python, R or similar statistics software

    Nice to have

    • Experience balancing demands from multiple stakeholders
    • Experience working on and/or improving attribution models
    • Experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, CRM or Impact
    • Experience with A/B Testing & statistical knowledge
    • Experience in a SaaS / Freemium product environment
