Working Student - User Research

In this role, you will be working on strategic projects together with Strategy and Ops leaderships, to make impact on both Jimdo’s immediate business and mid-term vision.

This experience will also give you the opportunity to learn classic consulting skills and methodologies while working on real strategic projects.



Location

We suggest you to work remotely within Germany. Wherever you work, we will ensure that you receive a detailed (virtual or personal) onboarding so that you can be part of the team from day one.

Responsibilities

  • You will research and compose competitor information aiming to advance the company-wide understanding of our competitors in terms of strategic focus and competitive advantage. This will become a crucial part of the first company-wide competitive intelligence portal
  • You will monitor Jimdo’s competitors’ development, including business updates, strategic movements and decisions. This will form the leadership’s view on industry trend and opportunities
  • You will conduct market research to support teams’ view on international market expansion strategy
  • You will support market sizing estimation by suggesting and researching statistical and/or business indicators as benchmarks

      Requirements

      • You are a registered student at a German university in the higher semester, ideally in Finance, Business Management, or other similar fields
      • You are highly interested in understanding business models and business strategy
      • You are experienced in conducting research studies, collecting data points, information and traits for business estimations via various research sources and channels
      • You have solid excel, word and presentation skills
      • You are self-motivated. You have a structured approach in managing tasks, keeping records and analysing business problems
      • You are fluent in English and German (both verbal and written) and are a strong communicator
