We are happy to invite you to work with us in our office in Hamburg or permanently remote from any location. Wherever your working location of choice will be, we will make sure you get proper onboarding (virtual or in person) and that you are fully equipped to become part of the team from day one.

Your Mission

The mission of our cloud infrastructure group is accelerating our developer productivity via standardization, best practices, governance and tooling. We collaborate with our product engineering teams to make it easy and fast to build reliable and scalable production applications. We are advocates and drivers for high quality and secure systems across the organization.


  • You lead the cloud infrastructure group with the mission of accelerating our engineers productivity via standardization, best practices and tooling.
  • You lead and support the engineering teams of the group that are building Cloud Platform and Infrastructure as well as Site Reliability, Quality and Security
  • You shape and drive best practices of Developer Experience within Jimdo
  • You live a close relationship with and support Product Engineering Teams, Product Management, Data and others to provide a scalable and reliable service
  • You are an advocate for high performance, being data-driven, quality and security.
  • You lead and grow the international teams and know how to bring and develop the best professionals on board (approx 30 employees)
  • You inspire, encourage and help you team members to grow, perform & win
  • You challenge the status quo with a focus on efficiency, automation, continuous delivery, and quality engineering


  • You have experience of leading engineering leaders in a product company of 200+ people or on consulting side
  • You have experience in leading projects related to Cloud Infrastructure, developer efficiency and security security management
  • You enjoy constantly finding innovative ways and experimenting with the technical and process changes
  • You have experience of growing and managing remote-first, global engineering teams
  • You skillfully and successfully manage quality, security, performance and developer experience with other business needs.
