We are happy to invite you to work with us in our office in Hamburg or permanently remote from any location. Wherever your working location of choice will be, we will make sure you get proper onboarding (virtual or in person) and that you are fully equipped to become part of the team from day one.
Regarding candidates who want to relocate to Hamburg: Due to COVID our offices are temporarily closed. We will invite you to start working with us from your current location for the time being. Once the borders are reopened, and the Embassies accept visa applications again, we will initiate the relocation process to Hamburg. Until then, you will be invited to work with us remotely with a temporary contract.

Your Mission

You will plan and oversee employer branding and communications aspects including Global Employer Branding Strategy, Social Media Management, Content Development, Measurement and Metrics, Management of Vendors and Partners.

You will work in a collaborative manner and evaluate and implement programs designed to increase brand awareness, generate talent pipeline, and assist with candidate conversion throughout the funnel.

You will transform a brand of well-known company with a good name in Germany to the international level employer brand visible for the best talents in the world.


  • You will own and manage Jimdo employer branding activities (i.e. building brand awareness, engaging brand followers and managing the employer reputation).
  • You will partner with People team , recruitment and hiring leaders to help define and execute the optimal, best-in-class candidate experience.
  • You will lead research and studies (both internal and external) to understand the needs and opportunities to engage and entice diverse talent, and influence benefits and policies in turn by sharing with key HR stakeholders.
  • You will lead the creation and curation of content and brand assets showcasing interns and employees of all backgrounds, bringing Jimdo EVP to life across all channels – paid and owned.
  • You will partner with the analytics team to develop dashboards and analyse metrics for all employment branding programs, social media, virtual events, Career website, etc.
  • You will possess a deep understanding of the tech space across multiple geographies, understands our target audience (tech and non-tech talents), researches and analyses market competitive landscape- who we’re up against and why.
  • You will know the tech landscape and relevant industry events and ensures Jimdo has a presence where beneficial
  • You will understand the challenges with our brand and works to propose solutions.
  • You will identify partners and platforms to help amplify and position our brand among key talent.
  • You will create ongoing and innovative engagement programs to continuously evolve our employer brand.


  • 3-5 years of experience in employer branding, internal and external corporate communications.
  • Proven track record in executing successful employer branding initiatives.
  • Strategic, hands-on and able to work effectively in an ever-changing environment.
  • Resourceful and proactive.
  • Excellent research skills- always on top of industry changes and trends.
  • Fluency in English ( both verbal and written).
