Product Designer - Growth

We are happy to invite you to work with us in our office in Hamburg or permanently remote from any location. Wherever your working location of choice will be, we will make sure you get proper onboarding (virtual or in person) and that you are fully equipped to become part of the team from day one.
Regarding candidates who want to relocate to Hamburg: Due to COVID our offices are temporarily closed. We will invite you to start working with us from your current location for the time being. Once the borders are reopened, and the Embassies accept visa applications again, we will initiate the relocation process to Hamburg. Until then, you will be invited to work with us remotely with a temporary contract.

Your Mission

As a Growth Designer, you will drive the Growth engine for Jimdo with amazing fast delivering concepts and designs. You will be collaborating closely with every team member of the Growth Team and other stakeholders, like designers, developers, product owners and management outside the Growth team.


  • You will be responsible for creating designs all along the Jimdo funnel that will be tested as A/B tests within the Growth Team.
  • Your design will be focused on ‘perfect enough for testing.
  • You are able to create best working concepts based on given data, user experience and user needs.
  • You will identify core problems for Jimdo customers and deliver design solutions.
  • You will present and discuss your work and ideas with stakeholders and management.


  • You ideally have already worked in a growth team or fast delivering product team
  • You have profound experience of at least 4 years in creating designs for both (mobile, responsive) websites and apps and you can show us your portfolio
  • You have an excitement for interpreting data and working with that
  • You like learning from customers and turning their problems into product optimization
  • You have outstanding communication skills
  • You have excellent English skills
  • You are an expert in using Figma and Sketch
  • You have solid prototyping skills
