Location

We are happy to invite you to work with us in our office in Hamburg or permanently remote from any location where you are permitted to work from. Wherever your working location of choice will be, we will make sure you get proper onboarding (virtual or in person) and that you are fully equipped to become part of the team from day one.
We will support you in case you would like to relocate to Germany.


Your Mission

To ensure success as a monetization analyst, you should possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for translating data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies, and increase Jimdo’s competitiveness and profitability. In this role, you will be analyzing competitor pricing, preparing market share and revenue forecasts, and comparing the outcomes of different pricing and monetization strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Access data from a variety of internal and external sources to gain insights into monetization strategies and market trends.
  • Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies and make recommendations on profitability.
  • Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and subscription volumes.
  • Develop dynamic monetization tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
  • Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.
  • Keeping informed on modern analysis methods and industry trends.

    Requirements

      • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field - a master’s degree in business administration is a plus
      • A minimum of five years' experience as a pricing / monetization analyst
      • Expertise in processing and evaluating big data sets with appropriate tools and methods (SQL, R, Python, Tableau, etc.) to understand and predict user behavior
      • Experience in collaborating on monetization strategies with finance marketing department
      • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.
      • Excellent analytical and communication skills
