Your Mission

In this role, you will define, develop and drive the pricing & monetization strategy through all of our freemium products at a worldwide level. We see you as an ambassador for monetization, someone that loves to collaborate with the product as well as the business folks to bring the best possible experience of purchasing Jimdo’s premium products. As a part of our Product Analytics team, your impact is big and your success is easily measurable. All methods and technology choices are available at your disposal. In addition to that, there is a dedicated Monetization Data Analyst in your team to support your projects in all analytics and research matters.


  • You lead key monetization projects that maximize world-wide customer lifetime value in close collaboration with the analytics, marketing, controlling, design and engineering teams
  • You develop promotional & offering strategies while creating delightful user experiences across the whole customer lifecycle
  • You drive and own monetization strategies and initiatives, increase efficiency and revenue with a focus on consumer behavior in digital environments
  • You monitor industry and scientific trends, analyse competitive data & strategies, research buyer behavior and design pricing & bundling studies
  • You find new monetization opportunities in new products, offerings or partners, while continually testing, innovating and iterating on-going programs


  • You have substantial experience creating, managing, and executing monetization strategies in a data-driven digital product company
  • You have deep understanding of both the theory (pricing know-how, behavioural economics, neuropricing, user experience, scientific research) and the industry (SaaS, Freemium, Free Trial, monetization of digital services)
  • You have excellent analytical thinking skills, including both the science (e.g., modelling, A/B-testing & experimentation) and the art (e.g., be curious about the business, form and test innovative hypotheses)
  • You always search for blockers in product delivery and organisation, and actively create and maintain effective communication channels in the company
  • You are able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles to team members, as well as to senior management
  • You are a highly organized individual with outstanding communication skills. You love to work together with others towards a common goal.

At Jimdo we are ready to start working with new colleagues as soon as possible. Even though we can’t do the onboarding process in the office as we normally would, we will still make sure that you get a thorough online and virtual onboarding, and to help you feel like you are a part of the team from day one.

It is not a limitation if you don’t live in Germany right now. We will invite you to start working with us from your current location for the time being. Once the boarders are reopened and the Embassies accept visa applications again, we will initiate the relocation process to Hamburg. Until then you will be invited to work with us remotely with a temporary contract.
