Your Mission

Jimdo is looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager | Paid Search / SEA with a growth mindset.

As Jimdo’s Performance Marketing Manager | Paid Search / SEA, you will be responsible for growing and developing Jimdo’s current Search Engine Advertising platforms, expanding reach and growth for new and existing Markets, and analysing areas of opportunity. While establishing Jimdo’s drive to enhance SMBs, you will base your decisions on data to ensure effective optimizations and drive overall business objectives & goals.


  • You will manage day-to-day SEA optimisations and ensure alignment with targets with a clear focus on Growth metrics shared and discussed with the Performance Marketing team.
  • You will create, develop and optimise campaigns directly across various markets.
  • You will collaborate with other teams (Design, BI, Engineering) on a multitude of projects.
  • You will develop short and long-term wins by automating manual processes that directly impact growth and/or profitability.
  • You will identify trends and insights to develop and optimise the campaigns.
  • You will create transparent analytical reports which other teams can easily digest and utilise.


      • 2+ years of experience in managing performance-based search engine marketing campaigns for multiple markets.
      • You are highly passionate about numbers, online advertising and exhibit enthusiasm in your work.
      • You have comprehensive data analysis and problem-solving skills.
      • You have high attention to details and are able to spot potential performance issues before they will happen.
      • You are deeply interested in web technologies and the latest developments and trends in search behaviour.
      • You have an excellent understanding of using Google/Bing Ads Editor and Excel (previous experience in programming, databases, web development would be a plus but it’s not a “must-have”).
      • You can think outside the box introducing fresh ideas, you bring initiative combined with creativity and the proven ability to collaborate with other marketing teams to meet objectives.
      • You have good communication skills and are able to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
      • You possess good prioritisation and de-prioritisation skills and are able to comply with deadlines and targets.
      • Mentoring newcomers in Search is in your nature.
      • You speak English and German fluently, other languages would be a plus.
